The much-awaited theatrical trailer for Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur’s upcoming period love drama, Sita Ramam is unveiled by the makers at a special event held at Prasads Imax. The 2 minutes 28 seconds trailer prominently showcases the life story of the lead pair.
Set in the 1965 time period, the love story between lieutenant Ram( Dulquer Salmaan) from Madras presidency and Sita Mahalakshmi ( Mrunal Thakur) is showcased with a sub-plot showcasing some exotic locations in Kashmir. What is the role of Afreen( Rashmika Mandanna) from twenty years later to the time zone of Ram and Sita’s love story? How is Afreen’s role interconnected with the love story of the lead pair, expected to be the main crux of the film. While the vintage period setup is showcased in an amazing manner, the lead pair roles played by Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal are adorable as a couple.
