Akkineni Nagarjuna is one hero who knows that the movie business is all about being attractive and saleable for the longest time possible. Here the actor is as good as he is on the Friday and what he or she accomplishes in the form of long run at the box office. He always plans his films with minimum risks and tries all sorts of scripts one after the other without being afraid of the negative outcome and outburst. He did manage to reach another peak with his Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri hattrick successes at the box office. Even on personal front he is having an eventful few months with back to back weddings and other ceremonies of his two eligible previously bachelor sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil. He acknowledged the fact in front of crowd in the audio release celebration too. Now, with Sankranthi storm stricking hard at the box office, Nagarjuna took a back seat for quite some time and released his Om Namo Venkatesaya, devotional flick songs this Sunday for Vaikunta Ekadasi.
Some felt with two biggies coming at a time, the songs would go unnoticed but without much hype the soulful devotional melodies composed ever trust worthy MM Keeravani, managed to hit the heart strings of Telugu audience at the right spot. The songs are slowly picking up in the air time and they are being appreciated on the social platforms too. Om Namo Venkatesaya is directed by K Raghavendra Rao, marking his 6th devotional film and 4th with Akkineni Nagarjuna. Among the songs, the new young singers have sung the most and Akhilanda Koti, Pareeksha, Kamaneeyam have already found place among the devotional time slots. Anushka, Pragya Jaiswal, Sourabh Raj Jain, Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman, Asmita are part of the cast ensemble and JK Bharavi, Kiran kumar Manne, Gopal reddy, Gautham Raju complete the crew of the film. Mahesh Reddy is producing the movie and it is touted for February 10th release.
