Sidharth Malhotra grabs Rowdy Rathore 2

Sidharth Malhotra is taking over Rowdy Rathore 2 from Akshay Kumar now that Kartik Aaryan previously handled Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

One of Bollywood’s bankable stars is Akshay Kumar. He has given a number of standout performances in movies that frequently end up as memes. Without him, sequels to several of his films are being produced, and Sidharth Malhotra appears to be the most recent to do so.

Instead of using Khiladi Kumar to play the protagonist in his sequels, filmmakers are exploring new talent. In the 2022 blockbuster film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan was cast. He received praise for taking on the role so skillfully. Evidently, Sid is doing the same.

As per reports, In Rowdy Rathore 2, Siddharth Malhotra will take Akshay Kumar’s position. The Shershaah actor is pondering the chance to reprise his role as a cop in the action film after appearing as one in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force.

Sources say, “Shabina Khan has been trying to develop Rowdy Rathore 2 for a while now, but, has been waiting for all factors to fall in place. She has finally managed to lock the core idea for Rowdy Rathore 2 and is in the conversation stage with Sidharth Malhotra to play the role of a cop in this film. Sid, too has shown interest, however, is still contemplating if he should play a cop role outside of the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe.”

Shabina Khan will fund the sequel along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali & a prestigious production house. “The makers are looking to take the film on floors in the next 2 months as the basics are already on paper. It’s just about getting a cast on board the film now. The talks are also on with a top director, who delivered a blockbuster last year, to be at the helm of an affair.”

With this news, the most pressing issue will definitely be, “Will Akshay Kumar feature in Rowdy Rathore 2?” No information has been made public regarding the actor’s participation in the sequel to his 2012 film, in which he played both a troublemaker and a police officer.
