Siddharth Sharma has taken legal action against the makers of the upcoming film Soorya, starring Sunny Deol. He announced on social media that he has sent a legal notice to the producers for breaking the agreement made before the film’s shoot began.
Siddharth accused the producers Kamal Mukut, Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Deepak Mukut, of repeatedly ignoring the terms of the artist agreement.
In his post he mentioned that the notice cites sections of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and that legal proceedings could follow if the producers do not take corrective action.
He said these steps taken after the team failed to resolve the issues despite several requests.
The news has caused a stir in the film industry since Soorya is a much-awaited film backed by Zee Music Company and Zee Studios. So far, the producers have not responded to Siddharth’s claims.
