In the same year, 1994, Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai competed in the Miss India pageant and later won the Miss Universe and Miss World titles, respectively. When she appeared on ‘
2005’s “Koffee With Karan” She was questioned by Karan Johar if she believed she deserved to win that evening.
Sushmita responded to this by stating that she didn’t hold Aishwarya’s performance against herself and that she felt she deserved to win.
She thought Aishwarya was amazing on stage.
Sushmita continued by saying that she won that night not because she was superior to Aishwarya but rather because she was her best self.
Sushmita elaborated, saying that she was luckier that night than everyone else. Her shooting star passed directly over my head, and when you are vying for anything, that can be crucial. She said that it wasn’t only you who put in a lot of effort because there were 20 to 30 other girls who worked just as hard as you. Additionally, it relates to her luck that evening.
Sushmita will soon be seen in “Aarya 3” on the job front.
The actress only recently began filming for the show. Director Ram Madhvani is behind it.
