In the meantime, Shruti Haasan will next be seen working with Prabhas in the upcoming action movie Salaar from Prashanth Neel. The play, which is being made by Vijay Kiragandur under the auspices of Hombale Films, will also feature prominent performances by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao. The teaser Salaar will be released in the first week of July, according to the most recent reports. According to the producers, Salaar will have a global release on September 28.

Currently, Kamal Haasan is occupied with the filming of Indian 2, the eagerly awaited follow-up to his hugely successful 1996 hit Indian. He has also teamed up with H Vinoth, the director of the film Thunivu, and the movie is purportedly about farmers.
