Shruti Haasan Breaks Down What Makes Coolie Unique

Shruti Haasan who plays Preethi in the upcoming Tamil action film Coolie, recently spoke about what sets the film apart from director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous works.

Co-starring superstar Rajinikanth Coolie is all set for a grand theatrical release on August 14th.

Shruti, currently busy with a packed schedule including Train with Vijay Sethupathi and The Eye, revealed that while Coolie shares some similarities with Lokesh’s earlier films, like intense action and emotional depth, it stands out for its massive scale.

“Lokesh always blends high-octane action with strong emotional stories. That part remains the same. But Coolie is made on a much bigger scale. It’s very different in terms of size and presentation” Shruti explained.

With Rajinikanth leading the cast and Lokesh’s signature storytelling style, Coolie is one of the most awaited releases of the year promising both spectacle and substance. Shruti’s insights have only added to the buzz.
