Much like her dad, superstar, Kamal Hasaan, who is admired for his dancing skills, Shruti, quite takes after her day we got to say! The father-daughter duo will be seen together on the big screen for the first time and the actress is taking special lessons for it.
She is at present in Los Angeles for a shoot and she will be taking lessons from Step Up series choreographer Jamal Terry-Sims. The buzz is that this dance will be the high point of Shruti Hasaan’s career. A source was quoted by an English daily as saying, “Shruti is very excited about working in this film — especially since she is one of her dad’s biggest admirers. To share screen space with this celebrated cinematic icon is definitely a dream come true for her! Jamal Sims who is known worldwide for his street and hip hop dancing skills will be training the actress in hip hop and street style. The track might also be a promo for the film.
