Olympian and popular sportsperson from Hyderabad, Saina Nehwal has been recently in the news for winning Bronze medal in recently concluded Badminton Super Series tournament. A biopic on her as been in the cards from past few years and Shraddha Kapoor has been finally cast to play the role of the famous Badminton player. The movie will be directed by the writer of Taare Zameen Par, Amol Gupthe.
Shraddha Kapoor recently concluded her movie, Haseen Parker and she also joined the shoot of Saaho with Prabhas. After completing the movie, she will stat shooting for her movie on Saina Nehwal. For the movie, Shraddha Kapoor started preparing to look like a Badminton player and for that the actress has started taking special lessons in the sport. As she needs to look like a champion on screen she is practicing the game like a pro.
“ I have been attending the training session from last one month and I have fell in love with the sport. I have become a sportsperson now and I follow the sports more regularly than others. Ever since, I started playing the sport, I see myself feeling different and active all the time. I am in constant touch with Saina and exchange notes with her on how to play the game. I am more than happy to be on screen Saina and as I love the game, i will continue playing it even after completing the movie, “ said elated Shraddha Kapoor.
