Many Bollywood actresses like Preeti Zinta, Manisha Koirala, Deepti Bhatnagar, Bhagya Sri have worked in South Cinema. In fact Preeti Zinta started her career in Dil Se, directed by Mani Ratnam. She also acted with Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu in Premante Idera and Rajakumarudu respectively. Manisha Koirala was part of big movies like Bharateeyudu, Oke Okkadu and Baba. Now, there is a great chance that Shradda Kapoor could enter South Cinema.
Sukumar is looking to take his blockbuster movie, 100% Love to Tamil and he chose the young debutant, MM Chandramouli for the task. The young talent as assisted Hollywood Cinematographer Fred Murphy after completing his course from Film School and also worked as Cinematographer for few Hollywood flicks like Backwaters and Natasha. Now, he is writing the script for this remake and is looking to take a fresh pairing for the movie.
Already music director turned actor GV Prakash Kumar is signed on as the hero. The actor had many releases that did not work at box office like his initial movies but still he has films with directors like Bala, Vetri Maran in his kitty. The team has approached Shradda Kapoor for the lead actress role rather than repeating Tamanna. The actress is busy with shooting for her Haseena and awaiting the releasing of the movie, Half Girlfriend with Arjun Kapoor. She also has the biopic of Saina Nehwal in the pipeline.
