Legendary filmmaker and real-life showman Ram Gopal Varma steps into the spotlight as the lead actor in his new film “SHOWMAN”, carrying the striking tagline “Mad Monster.”
Adding further intrigue, renowned actor Suman plays the antagonist — a casting choice that recalls the powerful impact he created as a villain in Superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster “Sivaji.” The film marks the directorial debut of Nuthan, who makes his grand entry into cinema with this ambitious project.
Produced by Thummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana — who previously collaborated with RGV for Ice Cream and Ice Cream-2 — the film is being mounted as Production No. 120 under the Bhimavaram Talkies banner, in association with a leading corporate production house.
Set against the intense backdrop of the gangster underworld, a genre closest to RGV’s heart, the project has already commenced shooting quietly.
Producer Thummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana announced that plans are underway to unveil the film’s trailer during Sankranti.
