It is widely known that Megastar Chiranjeevi has multiple projects in the pipeline. One among them is Godfather under the direction of Mohan Raja.
The shooting for the film kick-started in October 2021 and almost wrapped more than seventy five percent, say sources. Reportedly, due to the ongoing Covid third wave situation, the shooting was stalled for the time being but the team is keen on wrapped up the entire shooting formalities by March end. Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan, who has accepted to do an extended cameo in the Godfather will be joining the film sets soon after the Covid situation return to normalcy.
NV Prasad is association with Konidela Productions Company is bankrolling the movie. While Nayanthara and Satyadev are playing key roles, Godfather has its music by Thaman. The film is an official remake for Malayalam hit, Lucifer.
