The Telugu dubbed version of the Kannada film, Vedha is scheduled for a theatrical release on February 9th. Starring Sandalwood star Shivarajkumar in the lead role, the film’s pre-release event happened in the evening hours at Hotel Daspalla in Hyderabad. As the special guest, Nandamuri Balakrishna attended the event and conveyed best wishes to the team members.
Speaking at the event, Balakrishna revealed his family bonding with Shivarajkumar’s family and said their families shared a good and healthy relationship from the early days during the times of NTR and Rajkumar.
Talking about Shivarajkumar, Balakrishna said that he is like his younger brother and heaped praises on Sivanna’s acting capabilities. Balayya even revealed that his old-age getup for the recent hit, Veera Simha Reddy was inspired by Shivarajkumar’s avatar in the 2017 Kannada blockbuster, Mufti.
Coming back to Vedha, directed by Harsha, the film also has Ghanavi Laxman, Shwetha Chengappa, Umashree, and Aditi Sagar in key roles. Interesting thing is that the film’s original version is gearing up for digital premieres on February 10th on Zee5.
