With the budgets constantly increasing, producers are finding it hard to arrange the money and running into issues at the eleventh hour unable to pay the financiers and get the all important clearances for release. The latest movie that run into the trouble is the movie, Shivalinga starring Raghava Lawrence, Rithika Singh directed by P. Vasu.
The movie slated for release on Friday, 14th April ran into trouble as the Telugu distributor and producer Malkhapuram Shivakumar gave up on arranging finances at the last minute. According to the sources, the producers have to secure 3 crores money and pay off the financiers to guarantee a release by Friday morning. While it is hard for them do so, they are looking for help from all the sides they can get!
Well, the producer, Suresh Babu is overlooking the things and trying to ensure a release as he is close to the director of the movie, P. Vasu. But it is still unknown why Shivakumar could not arrange money in the last moment and what happened at the eleventh hour that he gave up! The producer hit a rough patch with his movies Singham3, Dora and Chitrangada garnering losses. The losses were so huge that he could not recover in time? Well, we hope that the producers can find answers sooner to their money woes and ensure a smooth release!
