Shirley Setia is Excited About Her Next Line of Projects Down South

After playing a cute, Telugu conservative girl Vrinda Mishra in her last Telugu outing ‘Krishna Vrinda Vihari’ opposite Naga Shaurya, YouTube sensation and songstress Shirley Setia is all excited for the next line of projects in South.

“It was a great experience working in the Tollywood industry, which is currently creating waves in Indian cinema. Although I happened to work in just one film in Telugu, the love that I have been receiving from Telugu audiences is amazing. The messages that I keep receiving on Insta shows how audiences loved my character as a traditional Telugu girl. I’ve got a few more unattended scripts. I’m sure very soon I will be coming before audiences with a feel-good movie,” she says.

Of late, the New Zealand-born singing sensation is visiting holy shrines in northern India invoking the blessings of Hindu Gods. Her last post on Instagram says she visited the popular shrine Haridwar on the auspicious occasion of a festival.

Having laid her success path with singles like ‘Kaho Na..’, ‘Disco Disco…’, Shirley forayed into the singing profession not by choice but by chance. Her first choice as a professional career was always marketing. However, God had set other plans for her. Shirley didn’t realise her potential until she posted her first song on YouTube for which she received mind-boggling views.
