Shilpa Shetty has made an unexpected announcement about her business. Her well-known Mumbai restaurant Bastian Bandra which she co-owns, will be closing its doors.
She revealed on Insta that September 4th will be the last day of operations leaving many shocked. While Shilpa did not share the reason behind the closure.
A major rumor connects it to the controversy involving Shilpa and her husband Raj Kundra. The couple has been accused of being linked to a Rs. 60 crore loan and investment issue that reportedly took place between 2015 and 2023.
Bastian originally opened in 2016 and became a favorite among food lovers. In 2023 it moved to a larger Bandra space and soon turned into a celebrity hotspot.
Now with its sudden shutdown, many regular visitors and fans of the restaurant are expressing their disappointment.
