Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are caught in a legal dispute after being accused of cheating their business partner of Rs. 60 crore.
Due to this ongoing case Shilpa had requested permission from the court to travel abroad for professional work. However she has now withdrawn her request.
Her lawyer informed the court that she might file a new application in the future if her travel plans are revived.
Earlier Shilpa had approached the Bombay High Court seeking permission to travel to the U.S for a work-related event. But her counsel told the court on Thursday that her travel plans have been cancelled.
According to reports the court had refused to allow her to leave the country unless she deposited Rs. 60 crore as security. Following this condition, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra decided to withdraw their plea and drop their travel request.
