Shilpa Shetty to play Tabu’s role in the remake?

Shilpa Shetty did not act in Telugu Films after Sahasaveerudu Sagarakanya, Veedevandandi Babu, Azad and Bhalevadivi Bosu. She became a huge name by participating in UK Bigg Brother show and after that married Raj Kundra, a business magnet. She might be set to return to TFI soon as she is said to be approached for Tabu’s role from Andhadhun for its remake in Telugu. Nithiin bought the rights to remake and he announced it too.

Covid-19 pandemic has delayed his film Rang De shoot and even his marriage plans had to be postponed. As the unlock from lockdown at different areas is happening in India, the actor decided to start working on the remake, it seems. The team of the film have approached Shilpa Shetty to play the role say reports. Before this reports said that Anasuya Bhardwaj and Ramyakrishnan were approached for the film. Well, Tabu asked for a huge remuneration to reprise her role, it seems, which is too high for the film’s budget.
