After over 18 years, actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra is about to return to Kannada cinema with the release of the movie “KD- The Devil.”
Shilpa shared the news regarding the film on Ugadi through her Instagram.
Being born in Karnataka she said, “On this auspicious day of new beginnings, I’m thrilled to share with you a new character entering the war in KD’s battlefield as Satyavati.”
With the 1993 film “Baazigar,” which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty made her acting debut. Another gangster movie in Kannada is called “KD,” and it is directed by Prem of “Kariya” fame.
According to reports, the historical action movie is based on occasions that happened in Bengaluru during the 1970s. Sanjay Dutt, Dhruva Sarja, and V Ravichandran all had significant parts.
Shilpa Shetty is now working on the next Hindi-language cop action drama streaming series “Indian Police Force” for Bollywood.
Rohit Shetty is the series’ creator and director. Vivek Oberoi and Sidharth Malhotra also appear in the key roles. The show takes place in Shetty’s made-up Police Universe.
