Shekar Kammula defends himself

Actress Sri Reddy came out open in an interview to a YouTube channel about Casting Couch in Telugu Cinema. She made very shocking revelations like she had to sleep with many and date many but she did not get any offers. She said that people used her and did not even look back at her even though she is qualified enough to act with big stars as a heroine.

The actress then made allegations that she dated a producer’s son and a director cheated her. She revealed that the director is Shekar Kammula and said that the director thinks low of Telugu women and he is a person who does anything for a video call from young girls. She also alleged that he talks high about morals but he is completely different person off the screen.

The director reacted through his social media page on Facebook. He said, “People know about my integrity and how I strongly stand by women’s rights and equality. This person whom I never met making such degrading allegations is pure crime. The person needs to apologise to me immediately without any qualms. This is not my request but my demand as these baseless allegations have upset my friends, family and many of my well-wishers.” We have to see, how Sri Reddy will react now.
