Shefali Shah wrote in great length about her dislike of labels and preference for simplicity in clothing on social media.

Shefali Shah, one of the best actors in Hindi film, has written a letter in which she describes a hilarious occurrence that happened while she was out shopping with her husband, boys, and other family members.

Shefali wrote a lengthy post on social media about how her sons requested her to purchase labels because she is an actor.

She wrote: “My family of four decided to go shopping. My sons Extremely style conscious and fashion savy, my husband trusting their choice of clothes and shoes, and me a hobo they’ve decided to rewamp. I like shopping but my style is comfortable, easy and something I don’t have to sell a kidney for.”

“But they have decided it’s time I start wearing stuff that’s recognised (read labels). I don’t have anything against brands, I understand getting skin care, walking shoes, slip ons that I would use everyday (but not stuff I’d use once in a year.) And What is the point of buying a LV bag if there’s no money left to keep inside it. You can’t even live in it or drive it.”

She continued by saying that her fashionable sons knew every brand, just like other modern children.

There is a deluge of names that might be subject to copyright charges simply by being spoken. I probably haven’t heard of them because of this.

She continued with a smile on her face, “Represent, Ferragamo, Supreme, (all extremely pricey), They don’t give up – ‘Ok, try Off white,’ but White is my fave hue. They ask if I’ve heard of Goyyard when I respond that they are frustrated. Since I enjoy art, it goes without saying that I am familiar with Goya. “Yeezys,” they quip. Did they just urge me to take it easy? I demand an apology in the form of “ok, “Bape,” and “vetement.” I say, “Don’t babe me, and no, I won’t wait a minute.”

She claimed that because she “lives in them,” her sons asked her to obtain “slides,” and the actress gladly received “chappals.”

“You are an actress, you are seen and identified, you should wear labels,” Shefali continued, “and then my sons add. Years later, I would think back on this encounter and wish I had responded with a snappy rejoinder. And thank God I’m not stupid this time; my retort is perfect and timed perfectly.

Shefali provided the ideal response.

Not because I genuinely believe it, just because I want to silence them. And my audience makes me feel that way because of all of you great people.) I elevate my chin and gaze up at them, declaring, “I AM THE BRAND,” not because they are taller than me.
