Telugu Cinema has a peculiarity. Both the movie makers(makers and the cast) and the audience follow certain typical things and there are some special rituals. One of the typical things of Telugu cinema is, the competition based on the Telugu festival- Sankranti.
Sankranthi is considered one of the biggest festivals of Telugu people. Some movies are specially planned for in such a way that they get released during Sankranthi only. Bigwigs like Bala Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh have tried this formula and it really worked out for them.
Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie which marks his comeback into the movies is being made for Sankranthi release this year(2017), while Balakrishna’s 100th movie Gautami Putra Satakarani is also slated for a release at that time only. Now, Sharwanand’s “SHATAMANAM BHAVATI” also, has joined the Sankranthi race.
Shatamanam Bhavati stars Sharwanand and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. The shoot of the movie is going on, and the maker Dil Raju has planned to release the movie during Sankranthi. The motion poster of Satamanam Bhavati has been unveiled.
