Sharwanand to team up with Prakash Kovelamudi.

K Raghavendra Rao is known for his directorial skills and meritorious song picturization on screen. His films have become industry hits and blockbusters over the period of almost 50 years. But his son, Prakash Kovelamudi, has been struggling to find his footing in the industry, even though he got several opportunities to do so. He was introduced as a lead actor but his Neekai failed to give him any success. He quit acting and learned direction and screenplay writing from Los Angeles. Upon returning, he met several actors with his scripts but only Siddharth gave him a chance.

Before that he made a children’s movie, Bommalata produced by his friend, Rana Daggubati. The film won National Award and Prakash turned a producer for Morning Raaga as well. The film was made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Even though it did have popular music, the film could not become the festival circuit has it was planned to be and in popular exhibition also it did not become any major success. With Siddharth willing to experiment and Disney entering into Telugu Cinema production, Prakash turned director with Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu. The film turned out to be a launch pad for Manchu Lakshmi with a Nandi but the film ended up being a disaster.

After that he again tried his luck with Size Zero in Telugu and Tamil with Anushka. The film ended up a disaster and also created weight problems for the actress. Now, with all the experience from previous attempts, Prakash decided to make a romantic entertainer it seems. The film will be produced by Prasad Devineni and Arka Media works, the producers of Bahubali. The film will feature Sharwanand and the actor has almost signed the movie. The film will start after the actor completes his movie with Maruthi Dasari it seems. His, upcoming Radha is slated for a summer season release.
