Shantaram Biopic: Tamannaah’s Strong Role Revealed

These days, Tamannaah has been busy in the Hindi film industry mostly doing item numbers in big Bollywood films. Now she is taking on a more serious role in an upcoming Hindi biopic.

She will play the role of Jayshree Gadkar a popular Hindi and Marathi actress, in the biographical drama of legendary director V. Shantaram. For those who don’t know, Jayshree was Shantaram’s second wife.

The makers released Tamannaah’s first look poster today. She is seen in a beautiful saree, set against a vintage movie backdrop, giving off the charm of a classic actress.

The team wrote, “Jayashree – The star of an era. The strength behind a legacy. A chapter returning to history”.

Earlier, Tamannaah mostly appeared in glamorous roles and item songs in films like Stree 2 and Raid 2. Now, she has a strong, content-driven role, and fans are eager to see her performance in this biopic.
