Shankar has been facing criticism due to the poor performance of his recent films. Indian 2 and Game Changer turned out to be major financial failures, with Game Changer becoming a big blow for producer Dil Raju. Shankar’s handling of the projects and their inflated budgets have drawn a lot of negative attention.
Editor Shameer Muhammed, who worked on Game Changer, recently made shocking claims in an interview. He revealed that the film was originally shot for over seven hours, which he trimmed down to three.
He worked on the film for nearly three years before quitting due to other commitments, also calling the experience disappointing.
Excessive shooting led to rising costs, and though Dil Raju hasn’t openly admitted it, the film’s budget reportedly tripled. Shankar has previously faced similar issues.
Unless he takes a step back, learns from his mistakes, and comes up with a clear plan, he risks losing future opportunities.
