Shakuntalam shooting stalled!

Samantha Akkineni after a long time came back to acting. She is participating in the shooting of this movie. The shooting is happening in Annapurna Studios for the past couple of weeks. Shaakunthalam is a mythological take on the epic Mahabharata’s Adi Parva.

However, the latest update is that the movie’s shooting is kept on hold as the director Gunasekhar has tested COVID positive. Currently, he went into home quarantine. Shakunthalam cast and crew have now taken COVID tests. It is also known that Shakunthalam presenter Dil Raju too is tested COVID positive.

The shooting will resume once Gunasekhar recovers from the virus. Mani Sharma is the music composer of the movie. Gunaa Team Works is producing this project. Dev Mohan will be seen in the role of Prince Dushyanth. More details of the project will be out very soon.
