Shailaja Reddy Alludu starring Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel, Ramyakrishnan, Naresh and Vennela Kishore released for Vinayaka Chavithi weekend on 13th September. The movie release has been delayed due to floods in Kerala and it seems to have become a blessing in disguise. Movie due to holiday season help could easily negate the not so enthusiastic reviews affect on the film and collected a gross of Rs. 27.5 crores Worldwide in four days.
The movie collected a share of Rs. 14.51 crores from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Worldwide tally stands at Rs. 17.71 crores over the extended weekend. Maruthi Dasari directed the film and it is highest in his career too. Movie has to collect Rs. 24 crores to start making a profit and in many areas trade expects it to achieve breakeven status by the end of second weekend.
