He will soon be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki and Atlee’s Jawan. The superstar’s decision to work with Farah Khan appears to be an attempt to demonstrate his versatility.
Bollywood enthusiasts are aware of Farah and SRK’s close friendship. Their great collaborations on films like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, and Happy New Year are evidence of their friendship off the screen. But do they have any hidden plans to get back together and recreate the magic on large screens?
According to a report, Shah Rukh Khan will play the lead in a film that Farah Khan would direct. Under his production company, Red Chillies Productions, the superstar will also produce the movie. “Earlier, a studio was going to back it, and the idea of SRK headlining it was also being discussed. But now, there’s been a shift in the storyline that requires a different range of actors to do the movie. A preliminary agreement has been settled between Farah and the production house (Red Chillies). If all goes well, it will be announced later in the year and could kick off the shoot by the end of 2023,” revealed a source close to the development.
Earlier Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan ventures were dominated by romance. Will they keep the streak going? Time will only tell.
Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara will next be seen together in Jawan. The movie, whose release date is set for September 2023, is experiencing tremendous pre-release anticipation as a result of various leaks that have gone viral online.
