Shahid Kapoor responded to being referred to as “John Wick Lite” for his performance in Bloody Daddy in a recent interview.
The public is raving about Shahid Kapoor’s first over-the-top film, Bloody Daddy, and the actor is relishing in the success. Shahid will appear in a hard-core action film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar for the first time in this one. Shahid recently offered his thoughts on a few topics related to the movie and the reviews while the movies were still being promoted.
Shahid was referred to as “John Wick Lite” as soon as the teaser and trailer were published.
Shahid Kapoor sat down to discuss several aspects of his most recent OTT movie, Bloody Daddy. The actor finally answered when asked about his feelings regarding being compared to and labeled “John Wick Lite” for his role in the film, saying,“If I feel something is relevant, I absorb it and if I feel something is said in over smartness, I respectfully ignore it. Sometimes people say spicy things to gain popularity because nobody is interested in nice things beyond a point.”
Even Shahid Kapoor mentioned how some on social media simply want to post their harsh opinions and stand by to call attention to the negativity. When asked about the allegations that he would be replacing Akshay Kumar in Rowdy Rathore 2 after working on such a demanding action movie as Bloody Daddy, the actor quickly refuted them. I’m not doing Rowdy Rathore 2,” he declared.
One of Bollywood’s A-listers, Shahid has proven his acting flexibility throughout the years. He has demonstrated a real progression in his acting career, whether it be in Jab We Met, Haider, or Kabir Singh.
