Shah Rukh Khan known for his dedication and hard work in Indian cinema for over 30 years, recently suffered an injury while shooting intense action scenes for his upcoming film King at Golden Tobacco studio in Mumbai.
At 60, SRK continues to inspire the younger generation with his passion for acting and performing stunts.
According to the reports the injury is not serious but is related to muscle strain, something SRK has dealt with before due to his action roles.
He has now travelled to the U.S. for medical treatment and has undergone a minor surgery. Doctors have advised him to take a one-month break to recover fully.
As a result the shoot schedule for King has been delayed, with filming now expected to resume in September or October.
Planned shoots at Film City, Golden Tobacco and YRF studios for July and August have been cancelled. The film is also expected to be shot in Europe.
