Sequel on the cards for this AM Ratnam’s blockbuster

It is widely known that 2004 released 7G Rainbow Colony went on to become a sensational youthful blockbuster. Directed by Selvaraghavan, the film was produced by AM Ratnam under his Sri Surya Movies banner.

Starring Ravi Krishna and Sonia Agarwal as the lead pair, the film has a simultaneous release in Telugu as 7G Brindavan Colony and ended up as a blockbuster here as well. The love story between the lead pair and fun-filled scenes between the friends’ gang are popular among the audience even nowadays.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that the team of 7/G Brindavan Colony is planning to make a sequel to the film. If a sequel to this blockbuster is made, will the same pair continue in the sequel or will there be any key replacements? Remains to be seen.

It is well-known that producer AM Ratnam is currently bankrolling a period drama, titled, Hari Hara Veeramallu with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Being directed by Krish, Hari Hara Veeramallu has Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead. Co-starring Bollywood star Bobby Deol in a key role, the film is expected to hit the screens sometime this year itself.
