Senior actress to do a negative role in Karthi’s Sardar

Currently, Tamil star Karthi is working on a spy thriller titled, Sardar. Being directed by PS Mithran, the film has Raashi Khanna as the female lead.

Meanwhile, the latest news coming in for Kollywood circles is that noted actress Simran has been roped in for the negative shaded role in the movie. It is widely known that Simran, who enjoyed a top slot in the South industry in the early 2000s gave a break to films after her marriage. A couple of years back, she made re-entry and has been bagging good offers.

Sardar is being bankrolled by S.Lakshman under Prince Pictures banner. The film also stars Rajisha Vijayan in a key role.
