Jayanthi, actress who started her career way back in late 1950’s, is said to be admitted in hospital as her health condition is critical. For sometime, she has been fighting with lung related issues and on Wednesday, she needed to be admitted in a private hospital, it seems. The actress started her career in Kannada films in late 1950’s and then acted in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi and Hindi films along with Kannada films. She belongs to a Kannada family and post marriage, she settled in Bengaluru.
She kept acting in films till early 2000’s and her popular films in Telugu, include Doctor Chakravarthy, Bharya Bhartalu, Jagadeekaveeruni Katha, Kondaveeti Simham, Justice Chowdary, Gharana Bullodu, Kodama Simham, Pedarayudu, Mayadari Malligadu and many more. She became one of the top stars in Kannada as she starred in major number of films opposite Kantirava Raj Kumar. Doctors have kept her on ventilator and family is worried about her well-being. We hope she recovers soon and if possible act in several films, too.
