Sekhar Kammula to revisit an interesting concept from the past

Director Sekhar Kammula is known for his feel good and emotional entertainers, so much so that audiences fall in love with the director’s every film, and the characters in it. His upcoming film Love Story, with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

While the film is yet to release, and has been postponed several times due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the director has announced his next with Kollywood actor Dhanush. The film is expected to start shooting next year, after Dhanush is done with his current commitments.

Now, speculations are rife that Sekhar’s film with Dhanush is going to be a political entertainer. There have been several speculations about the film, and this is the latest one. The last time Sekhar explored this genre was with Leader, which marked the debut of Rana Daggubati. Leader turned out to be a good success, and showed everyone that Sekhar Kammula is a director par excellence. Given that Dhanush is known to do risky subjects and still impress the audiences, it is going to be interesting to see what he brings to the audiences with Sekhar Kammula’s film. On the other hand, it is also being siad that Dhanush said yes to director Venky Atluri, which would mark his second Telugu film, in which Pooja Hegde has reportedly been roped in as the leading lady.
