Sarrainodu 100 crore claims lands the film in trouble

The talk about figures and earnings during promotions might have landed Sarrainodu team, especially the producers in soup. During the promotional activities, the collections of the blockbuster was repeatedly talked about, given that the filmmakers have claimed that the film has joined the 100 crore club and emerged as one of the top highest grossing Telegu movies of all times.

That got the Income tax department on alert. The lofty money talk and the posters screaming ‘Sarrainodu makes 100 crores’ had the IT department send notices to producer Allu Aravind enquiring about the details of tax to be paid. Sarrainodu opened to mixed ratings from the critics but went on to make huge money as the word of mouth spread really fast.
