Tamil star Karthi starrer Sardar under the direction of PS Mithran had a simultaneous release in Telugu with the same title yesterday. Reportedly, this spy drama has collected Rs 0.96 crore on its opening day in Telugu version. Below is area-wise break up data.

As per the trade reports, Sardar pre-release business for twin Telugu states is done for Rs 4.59 crore and the film should collect Rs 4.9 crore to emerge as a box office hit. As the film is carrying postive word of mouth, the film has high chances to perform well at the ticket windows during this festival weekend.
