Sarah Jane Dias has officially joined the cast of Lakadbaggha 2 – The Monkey Business, the sequel to India’s first Animal Lover Vigilante film.
Actor-director Anshuman Jha shared the news on social media saying that the “Lakadbaggha pack” is now “fiercer and stronger” with Sarah on board.
Sarah is known for her powerful roles in Kankhajura, Inside Edge, and Angry Indian Goddesses. She said she loved the concept of the Lakadbaggha universe and was excited to join a story that blends action with a meaningful cause, protecting animals. She also shared her excitement about doing action on screen for the first time.
The film, directed by Anshuman Jha, explores illegal primate trade and promises more action, deeper emotions, and a stronger story.
With Ridhi Dogra, Sunny Pang and now Sarah in the cast, Lakadbaggha 2 is set to hit theatres in Winter 2025.
