Sara Ali Khan talks about being trolled for visiting temples

Sara Ali Khan has addressed criticism of her Islamic beliefs and expressed her gratitude for feedback on her work.

One of the most well-known Bollywood actresses, Sara Ali Khan has delivered standout performances in films like Kedarnath, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, and Simmba, to name a few. She does, however, frequently face criticism for her fashion choices or religious convictions.

The actress recently discussed the criticism and stated she enjoys hearing opinions about her work. However, she is unconcerned with what other people think of her. She said that she doesn’t feel validated by other people because she has a strong sense of self.

In a conversation, Sara Ali Khan said, “I learned that my sense of validation should not come from anything external, including how I look. So I grew up with qualities that were very innate, very inherent, very internal. And because they’re rooted in such a secure place inside me, I’m not fazed by other people’s opinions of me. At my core, I’m still the same girl that went to Columbia to study Russian history. I think having a strong sense of self and not defining myself by what people think of me is the only way to keep going.”

“I really value feedback on any form regarding my work. I must consider how I can improve if the audience doesn’t like what I’ve produced because I work for them. Sara Ali Khan, who is frequently criticised on social media for visiting religious sites, continued, “But if they have an opinion on anything personal, whether it’s my religious views, my sense of style, or my non-blow-dried hair at the airport, I don’t care.

Sara recently made a special cameo in the song Heart Throb from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. She currently has several upcoming projects on the calendar. In Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, she plays the lead character with Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, and Neena Gupta.

Regarding the upcoming movie Ae Watan Mere Watan, Sara Ali Khan is in it. The movie, which chronicles the brave development of a Bombay college student into a freedom warrior, is said to be based on actual events. It will include Kannan Iyer as the director and be available on Prime Video. Alongside Karisma Kapoor, she will be in the upcoming film Murder Mubarak.
