Sara Ali Khan, a Bollywood actress, is receiving vicious trolls for visiting the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain and taking part in an aarti ceremony.
Sara Ali Khan, a Bollywood actress who made her acting debut in Kedarnath, frequently travels to Hindu temples and shrines. Her photos from the pilgrimage to the sites are also widely shared online. Her visit was mocked by several online users as well, but it didn’t stop her from going.
Sara recently paid visits to the Khajrana Ganesh Temple in Indore, the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, and the Kal Bhairav Temple. Social media is flooded with images from her visit, but as usual, netizens have started bashing her and branding her fake.
As the video went viral on social media, a user wrote, “How come temple administration is allowing their entry? Mahakaleshwar has become the most impure jyotirling as people like Rahul Gandhi and Sara are allowed inside. All rules broken. What is temple administration up to, convert this to park???”
Sara Ali Khan posted a photo of herself on Instagram as she was standing outside the temple and averted her gaze. She penned the phrase “Peaceful in the day.” Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga was the site that the actor geotagged. She made the background music the song Namo Namo from her movie Kedarnath. She also uploaded a picture of herself taken inside the temple grounds at night. “Jai Bholenath,” wrote Sara. At night, mesmerising… a day well spent.
The timing of Sara’s temple visit coincides with her recent triumphant movie Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, which also has Vicky Kaushal in the major role.
