‘Sapta Saagara Daache Yello,’ a Kannada blockbuster, made waves upon its September release in Karnataka. However, its Telugu version, ‘Sapta Sagaralu Daati (Side A),’ didn’t well in theaters despite its success in Sandalwood. Luckily, its swift launch on Amazon Prime Video garnered attention. The Telugu version struck a chord with the youth, resonating emotionally.
Now, People Media Factory, the distributor of ‘Side A,’ is set to release ‘Side B’ in the Telugu states on November 17th. The anticipation lies in whether audiences, captivated by the characters and storyline in the first part, will flock to theaters for the sequel or opt to wait for its OTT release.
The trailer hints that ‘Sapta Sagaralu Daati Side B’ will delve into the aftermath of Manu’s release from jail, promising intensity, freshness, and moments of heartbreak. The lead pair’s chemistry is touted as a major asset. The outcome on November 17th remains a mystery.
The film’s ensemble includes Avinash, Sharath Lohitashwa, Achyutha Kumar, Pavitra Lokesh, Ramesh Indira, Gopal Krishna Deshpande, among others. Directed and written by Hemanth Rao, with Advaitha Gurumurthy as the director of photography and Ullas Hydur as the production designer, ‘Sapta Sagaralu Daati Side B’ boasts Charan Raj’s music and background score. The writing credits go to Gundu Shetty and Hemanth Rao.
