Santosh Sobhan, who impressed everyone with Golconda High School, later turned into a solo hero. Though he experimented with different films, he hasn’t scored a major hit yet.
Still, he continues to work hard with multiple projects in hand. Now he has signed a new film with director Lakshman K Krishna known for Swathi Muthyam.
Swathi Muthyam, though compared to Vicky Donor, was appreciated as a light, simple and fun entertainer. The movie marked Bellamkonda Ganesh’s debut and was backed by Sithara Entertainments which helped it find an audience. Lakshman was praised for his handling of emotions in that film.
For Santosh the director has now prepared a subject that will suit him perfectly. This new movie, yet to be titled is expected to begin shooting next month and release in early summer 2026.
Meanwhile, Santosh is busy with Couple Friendly, Joruga Hushaaruga Shikaaru Podhama, and another untitled film.
