Santhanam Embraces Comedy Again

After a break from comedy roles to focus on being a leading hero, Santhanam is reportedly returning to his comedic roots.

Known for his perfect timing and hilarious performances he ruled Tamil cinema as a top comedian. However, he shifted to lead roles, leaving behind his much-loved comedy characters.

Though his hero films included humor, they didn’t always find success, especially after the pandemic. After several setbacks, many thought his career had slowed down.

However, Santhanam made a strong comeback with DD Returns, a hit film that now has a sequel titled DD Next Level, set for release in May. The first look promises another laughter-packed entertainer.

Reports suggest he has signed three new films as a comedian. One features Ravi Mohan, while the others pair him with Arya and Vishal.
