As most awaited pan-India movies like RRR and Radhe Shyam which are scheduled for a theatrical release are postponed indefinitely, many small movies are gearing up to occupy various slots during the Sankranthi release. On the other hand, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya’s rural drama, Bangarraju is aiming for a release during the same season.
As Bangarraju is a spin-off to the 2016 Sankranthi blockbuster, Soggade Chinni Nayana, the movie is carrying good expectations among the audience. Meanwhile, the latest we hear from trade circles is that exhibitors are showing interest in bagging regional rights of the film. Inside reports suggest that the film is likely to hit the screens on January 13th or January 15th.
Being directed by Kalyan Krishna, Bangarraju also has Ramya Krishna and Krithi Shetty in key roles. While Anup Rubens is composing soundtracks, Nag’s Annapurna Studios banner in association with Zee Studios is producing the movie.
