Due to creative disputes, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan were not able to complete their film Inshallah as planned.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali directing their favorite actor is one of the upcoming projects in Salman Khan’s fantastic lineup that all fans have been hoping for. With the film Inshallah, which also starred Alia Bhatt, the team was slated to return. Sadly, some creative differences prevented it from taking off. Can it ever occur?
For those who are unaware, Salman and SLB’s reunion was first revealed in 2019. The pair’s most recent collaboration was the 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which starred Salman in the protagonist. Fans are eagerly awaiting the filmmaker and the superstar to collaborate after more than 20 years.
According to reports, everything came together well, and sets were built for Inshallah. However, a project was put on hold due to creative disagreements between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Since then, there have been a number of rumours circulating regarding the project’s future, but no actual information has been revealed. Currently, Prerna Singh, CEO of Bhansali Productions, was speaking to India Today.
According to Prerna Singh, Inshallah will occur because the plot is excellent. The unfortunate fact is that it won’t happen anytime soon. The concept is present, she said. All of it was his concept, and it is finished. I want to create something immediately, but it has to flow naturally and from the within.
We can’t wait to witness Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan’s magic once more with Inshallah, so let’s hope problems between them may be resolved quickly.
