A video of actors Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi dressed as Munnabhai and Circuit, respectively, went viral, igniting rumours about the third installment of one of India’s most popular film franchises.
In the 2003 movie “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.,” Sanjay Dutt plays a quack doctor, and he was spotted wearing a bright orange shirt. As the ‘Munnabhai’ title track played in the backdrop of the viral video, director Rajkumar Hirani, who is also visible on the set, can be seen on the set, adding intrigue to the rumours.
Also heard is the director of Munnabhai stating, “Ahh, Munna is back!” Arshad Warsi enters the scene as Circuit and greeted everyone shortly after Sanjay Dutt. In the video, Rajkumar Hirani can be heard saying, “And we are back.”
The orange shirt, which is evocative of the first film in the franchise, raises the likelihood that the viral video is merely a publicity stunt for an upcoming ad that may capitalise on Sanjay Dutt’s portrayal of Munna Bhai the doctor.
