Sandeep Reddy Vanga, a successful Tollywood filmmaker known for his work on Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, is slated to release his most recent film, Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, on December 1. There has been a lot of speculation, particularly in relation to reports that Superstar Mahesh was first in consideration for the main role.
However, Vanga addressed this at a pre-release event in Hyderabad, making it clear that Animal isn’t the script he had discussed with Mahesh. He revealed that he had pitched a different story called Devil to Mahesh, which shares similarities in character portrayal but is more intense and violent compared to Animal.
When asked which Tollywood actor could fit the role essayed by Ranbir Kapoor, Vanga promptly mentioned Mahesh’s name. This indicates a potential collaboration between Vanga and Mahesh in the future. Having recently finished projects with Prabhas and Allu Arjun, Vanga seems inclined to collaborate with Mahesh after completing these ventures.
While Animal isn’t the script Sandeep Reddy Vanga narrated to Mahesh, the director expressed interest in working with the Tollywood superstar, suggesting a potential collaboration post his ongoing commitments.
