Sandeep Raj’s Dream Delayed Again

During the pandemic, Colour Photo was released directly on Aha. It became a big hit and introduced director Sandeep Raj.

Even without a theatrical release, the movie won the National Award for Best Film, giving the whole team a huge boost. Sandeep’s second film, Mowgli 2025 and his first theatrical release, was planned for December 12th.

But things changed suddenly when the makers of Akhanda 2 resolved their issues and also chose December 12 as their release date. This forced the small film to postpone its release, which upset Sandeep deeply. He shared his frustration on X.

Sandeep wrote that both Colour Photo and Mowgli 2025 faced unexpected problems and joked that he might be bad luck. He said Mowgli was made with great passion by the entire team and he hopes it gets the success it deserves. Fans responded with support.

The film, produced by People Media Factory and starring Roshan Kanakala and Sakshi Mhadolkar, will announce a new release date soon.

Maybe Colour Photo and Mowgli deserved another DIRECTOR instead of me. These movies were made by a group of passionate people who can do anything for their profession.
