Popular young director Sampath Nandi started from a humble background and then assisted Posani Krishna Murali in the direction and writing department. After making several Ad films he got his break into films with Varun Sandesh’s Yemayyindi ee vela. The film became a hit at the box office.But the real turning point for the young director came when he got the chance to direct Ram Charan Tej, in his very next movie and he utilised it completely by giving a money spinner, Raccha.
After that, he was selected to direct a film with Pawan Kalyan but somehow, the script did not workout and after nearly, three years of time, the project went to another young director and Sampath decided to move on with another hero.He started a production house in the mean time and made Galipatam, introducing one of his assistants as a director and he wrote the screenplay and a song for the film. The film was made Aadi as hero and ended being a decent grosser.
After that Sampath got busy with his directorial venture starring Ravi Teja, Tamannah and Rashi Khanna, Bengal Tiger. The film was declared above average at the box office, with great initials.Now, he is busy directing a movie with GopiChand in Bangkok. The scoop is that he is making another film as a producer and the movie will star Tanu Nenu lead actor, Santhosh with a debutant director directing the film. Sampath Nandi has written the script of the film.
