Romance is the best possible form of experience to feel and express love. When we feel a deep connection with a person, we tend to feel a sense of not letting them go ever from our side. But when they break the heart or hurt us deep, we feel we have lost everything.

This deep bond starts with one thing and thing only, that is, mesmerizing personality. We get so mesmerized by a person, to the extent, that we can’t hold back from being in their presence every minute. So, how does this film portray such highly important mesmerized phase of love?

Plot : Vijay (Sudheer Babu) is an artist but he doesn’t like films and film actors. He feels they are fake and the world they live in is all glitter and no real emotion guides them ever. So, he discourages even his aspirant father (Naresh) from pursuing his interest.

He meets Sameera Rathod (Aditi Rao) as his house is given for shooting purpose. She wants to learn Telugu language perfectly and Vijay becomes her coach. As he interacts with her slowly, he falls for her. She too feels something for him. But she rejects his proposal and he feels she used him. Why so? Will they meet and sort out the differences? Watch the movie for answers…

Performances : Sudheer Babu did not suite the kind of character Indraganti Mohan Krishna had in his mind. Even though he tried his best, we can make out that he is pretending like some other person and the character is also too week to connect with it.

Aditi Rao Hydari is so fluent and natural in her performance that we feel she gave the character and the film, more weight than it actually deserved. She did give her best in this role.

All other actors, including Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, Rahul Ramakrishna tried their best to induce life into clichéd moments.

Technicalities : Marthand K Venkatesh tried to give the film a flow but the way he cut few scenes you feel like he went through his job rather than really trying to come up with a cut that will help the movie.

Vivek Sagar, the music composer seems to be trying to make everything sound like his Pelli Choopulu album rather than really trying to give it a good twist and new quality. He needs to find himself again.

PG Vinda, concentrated on giving the film a pretty look and make everything seem beautiful with elements in them rather than really giving a meaning to the frames.

Writer-Director, Indraganti Mohan Krishna falls prey to his penchant to write clever lines and explain the emotions through the dialogues rather than showing them. He again ends up falling short of thinking beyond clichéd routine scenes and conversations. This is the best example of how a director is dominated by writer in him.

Analysis : The most interesting way to tell a romance is to give characters enough breathing space and let the audience understand, connect and follow them. Rather than letting the relationship grow organically and give us enough room to follow the couple, the movie concentrates on comedy when it could have kept it short or clever. This is a highly legarthic and calculated attempt from a director who loves to be clichéd than innovative. On the whole, you can watch the movie, only if you like Aditi.

Rating : 2.5/5
