Sameera Reddy shares an incident when she was “forced”!

Sameera Reddy became a popular actress in Telugu and Tamil films post her debut in Hindi. Musafir film made her highly famous all over India and then she got opportunities to act with Jr. NTR in Ashok, Chiranjeevi in Jai Chiranjeeva. She saw more success with her Tamil films and mainly in the direction of Gautham Vasudev Menon – Varanam Aayiram. She somehow couldn’t continue the success path and exited the Industry after 2012. Currently, she got married and became mother of two children too. The actress talked about casting couch in the Industry in past but this time she shared an incident where she got forced and blackmailed.

She revealed that on the sets of her film, suddenly she was asked by the director to kiss her co-star. She refused and asked the team about not informing about such scene before. The director came to her and talked to her in a rough tone and blackmailed her that he would throw her out of the Industry. He even insinuated that she was cheap type of person as she did a lip lock in Musafir film. The actress said that she got terrified at the time and was literally forced to complete the scene. Later, she decided to never work with that director.

She also said that an actor called her “unapproachable” and that did affect her career prospects. She did not reveal any names and asked young actresses to face these kind of bullies with strong determination and cool heads.
